UNIOSUN Post UTME | Cut-off Marks | Screening And Registration 2019

Are you sitting for this year’s POST UTME Screening exercise of the Osun State University? Then welcome.

Here on this portal, I will be sharing with you, the complete guideline on how to successfully register for the Osun State University Post UTME screening, Uniosun cut off marks, Screening date, and other required information.

Using this platform, I’ll love to inform and notify all candidates that the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) screening Exercise for Uniosun is available only for candidates who chose Osun State University as their first choice during their JAMB Registration, and candidates with a minimum JAMB score of 180 and above.

Uniosun PostUTME Eligibility

1. You must have scored 180 and above in the recently concluded JAMB examination. If you are yet to check your scores, follow this guide to check JAMB result.

2. You must have selected Osun State University as your first choice during your JAMB UTME registration. Candidates who did not choose Uniosun as their most preferred institution are qualified to sit for the Uniosun Post UTME screening test.

Uniosun PostUTME Cut off Marks

The Uniosun JAMB/PostUTME cut off marks for admission differs. Let me explain.

The official Uniosun cut off marks for PostUTME screening has been pegged at 180. Meaning that candidates who scored 180 and above in JAMB are eligible to sit for the PostUTME screening.

However, the Uniosun Cut off marks for admission differs, since some courses are more sought after than other courses.

All candidates who scored less than 200 in their JAMB result would not be considered for admission into any of the following programmes as listed below:

* Law
* Accounting
* Business Administration
* Political Science
* Economics
* Nursing respectively.

If you scored below 200 in JAMB and plan to study any of the above course, I will advise you to quickly do a change of course if you still want to study at Osun State University.

Follow the guidelines and fill in your correct details. Take note after your application has been successfully submitted, the school management expects you to print two (2) copies of the application form.

This guide is for Direct Entry candidates seeking for admission into the Osun State University through D.E.

All D.E candidates are required by the school admission board to complete the Registration form online, following the same process as UTME candidates, and ensure that they read the admission requirements of the university before applying to any of its programmes.

The applicants are expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University.

All Direct Entry candidates including those of UNIOSUN (IJMB) Programme, must get their Direct Entry form from JAMB if they wish to be considered for admission into Osun State University For 2019/2020 Academic session.

Direct Entry candidates will also participate in the Uniosun PostUTME screening exercise.


1. Each candidate must have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings, although the Nursing and Law requires only ONE sitting.

2. Take note that the Osun State University also accepts a minimum of Lower credit for Direct Entry candidates. During the postUTME registration, each candidate will be required to provide their O’ Level results on the school portal.

3. All aspiring candidates with awaiting results MUST submit their result after one week of the with-held result being released. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission into Uniosun.

IMPORTANT NOTE; Any candidate that provides false information and does not equally follow the legit process will be reported to the Law Enforcement Agencies, and such candidates admission offer will immediately be withdrawn once caught in the act.


The Osun State University 2019/2020 admission will be based on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS).

What is JAMB Caps

JAMB Caps is a system designed by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) which will help to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions.


Candidates should be careful not to make any mistake that will affect their admission. All applicants should visit the University’s website portal http://www.uniosun.edu.ng or http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng.

Uniosun PostUTME Screening Fee

All candidates are to pay the sum of N2,000.00 for the Post UTME Screening and N5,500 portal access and administrative fees, which will be paid through the Interswitch Web PAY platform, just with the help of your ATM cards (Master Card, Verve card and Interswitch enabled Cards.
